Description
Dilute phase pneumatic conveying is a means of transferring dry powdered or granular bulk materials through a pipeline. In dilute phase conveying, particles are fully suspended in the conveying air and transported at low pressure and high velocity. Dilute phase systems are extremely cost-effective and ideal for handling durable, non-abrasive, or light materials. From sorbent injection to truck unloading, and all general applications requiring the transfer of powdered or granulated bulk materials — choose dilute phase systems for an economical way to convey.
Nol-Tec dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems use large amounts of low-pressure (<15 PSIG) to convey materials. In this method, a blower at the system’s start supplies a high volume of low-pressure air to the system, and material is fed into the conveying line through a rotary airlock valve. The system relies on the air stream’s velocity to pick up and entrain each particle, keeping the particles in suspension as they travel through the conveying line.
